Was a blast partying with you as always,  and we look forward to seeing you at the next one coming up, which will be in April. We have had to postpone this month’s AfroStep  as a good number  of the AfroStep team will be tied up between music conferences in Africa and the upcoming South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin. If however you are looking to party this weekend, our good pals at OkayAfrica have a party for you this Saturday at a new Manhattan hotspot ‘ The 303 at Louie and Chan’ and will be featuring some great African music by great deejays, some of who we have worked with alot in the past. You can find more info here. http://www.okayafrica.com/2014/03/03/electrafrique-nyc-march-okayafrica-presents/
If you will be attending the much coveted Annual South By SouthWest Conference in Austin, Texas between March 7th and March 16th, Some of our family will be out there. Here is more info http://schedule.sxsw.com/2014/events/event_MP20929
Speaking of Afro Electronic Music, one of our deejays ‘Dj Xpect’ , who has been quietly dabbling in experimental music creation behind the scenes for years  has now began moving more into the live production space whereby he incorporates traditional turntablism and live production/remixing of music. He has promised to provide us with video that will take us behind the scenes as he puts together the music as well as fill us in on some big names he has lined up for a soon to be released Afro Electronic EP.
Feel free to check out some of his Afro Electronic productions as well as mixes at http://soundcloud.com/djxpect .
You could also check out his experimental electronic music production that he does under the moniker “Broadway Pete” at http://soundcloud.com/broadwaypete
Last but not least, we would like to thank you for your continued patronage since 2009. We are planning to host a 5th year birthday celebration later this year .
